This past weekend, Jackson and I attended the Monster Jam Monster Truck show with friends and family. We're not exactly sure how Jackson's fascination with monster trucks began, but he likes to begin everyday by drawing monster trucks on his whiteboard. We Santa asked what he wanted for Christmas, he said "trucks, monster trucks!"We ordered tickets months prior expecting that Jackson would love the show -- and he did!
We had been warned that the trucks were LOUD, so everyone had hearing protection.
Grandparents, Aunt Julie and Jeffrey joined in the fun too.
Throughout the event, Jackson was engrossed in the action. He never wanted to leave his seat. During intermission, the other boys were running around concourse. Jackson joined them for about 30 seconds, and then headed right back to his seat. He didn't want to miss a moment of the action!
On the way home, he told me "when I grow-up, I want to be a monster truck driver!" What have we done?!? ;-)
