Jackson's first stitches

First time being up at midnight!
Last week Jackson slipped when he was trying to exit the bathtub, and smashed the underside of his chin on the rim of the bathtub.  The impact split the skin and eventually required 5 stitches!

We first went to the Medical City Children's Urgent Care Clinic.  They advised we head to the ER.  While they could sew him up, they didn't have any anesthetic.  I wish I had told them how brave Jackson was, because 4 hours later, they sewed him at the ER without any!

Jackson was a champion patient; calm the whole time, still when he needed to be, and unfailingly polite to the hospital staff.

Sometimes it's better not to be like Dad  (Will in Feb. 2016 and Jackson in Jan. 2017)

Below, I've attached a detailed picture of the injury for reference purposes.  Beware it's difficult to see.
