I started my Portland trip with a hike to the beautiful Columbia Gorge.
I feel asleep the whole time when mommy and daddy had their lunch at mommy's favorite restaurant Pok Pok. I heard later that it was good, especially without my interference I suppose... ;-)
In the afternoon, we drove a big loop from the gorge to Mount Hood. It was a fruit loop too and I picked my first apple! It tasted very good and only 50 cents a pound. I loved this new experience!
The day after, we headed to the the Oregon coast. And this was the first time I met the ocean, not counting the times when I was sleeping in mommy's tummy. I really really loved the taste of sand. How about you?
The next day, mommy joined us too! We went to Mcleary Park in the morning for a short hike. It was such a green park in the middle of a bustling city. I enjoyed everything about this hike!
At the end of the hike, it is a big house with a lawn overlook the whole city of Portland. We could see Mount Hood in the background. Walking on the lawn feels so good!
I am a very independent boy and didn't like mommy trying to stop me from exploring. Oh, that was for a photo? Hmmm, too bad.
We then went to the Japanese garden and see THE TREE mommy has been talking about for years! It was a small tree, but nice nevertheless.

We stayed at a super cute cottage in the middle of nowhere. I found so many small breakable things in the cottage that I can play with! But mommy and daddy didn't like that fact that much.
We ended this perfect trip with meeting with my two cousins. They are the nicest big boys ever! They played with me during breakfast and made sure I was happy. I love my two cousins!
