Jackson just got back from his Colorado trip! He was very happy to be in a beautiful place with mama, dada, grandma and grandpa.
This trip marked many of his firsts -- first airplane flight, first jeep ride, first hike, first camp fire, first ice cream ... the list goes on and on.
The plane ride gave us perspective on how difficult to travel in a small plane with a high energy constantly moving one year old. He was screaming to be set free the first part of the ride. When we thought this plane ride would never end, he fell asleep. It was much easier from then on.
We arrived at Priest Gulch around 6pm where grandma and grandpa were eagerly awaiting us. We had a nice camp fire and ate Zweigles. Jackson settled in upstairs happily.
The next day we went for an easy hike and Jackson rode in the jeep first time.
We were looking forward to trying the hiking baby carrier. It worked wonderfully and Jackson was enjoying the ride until he fell asleep in his royal seat.
