We noticed Jackson's head shape early. He went to do neck exercise with a physical therapist weekly. Unfortunately, it didn't help much and at his four-month checkup, his pediatrician think it's necessary to put him in a helmet.
Cranial tech did a 3D evaluation on his head shape. His case is listed to the medium to severe in the measurements. Although reluctant, we are planning to go through it with him.
Today is the first day Jackson is in his helmet. He did well -- better than I expected. I was prepared for the worst - I read babies will bang their heads just to get it off and refused to sleep. So far that didn't happen to baby Jack. He was crying very hard last hour but that might be caused by his allergy.
It's a blank canvas right now. And I put Will on the task of decorating it into a Porsche racer's helmet!
